Franquette is an authentic French creperie bringing the specialities of Bretagne, France to the Southern Highlands of NSW. Franquette takes its name from the French expression ‘La bonne franquette’, which translates as “a simple and friendly meal...an informal get-together.” The phrase is often used to describe a laid-back and cozy atmosphere during a meal, where the focus is on enjoying each other’s company and the pleasure of sharing a meal together without any formalities or extravagance. With this in mind, we sought to create a brand identity for Franquette that felt authentically French, but with a simple, light hearted, and playful feel.
